We started this blog in early 2008 to follow our first pregnancy. After our son was prenatally diagnosed with a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH), we turned to the blog to inform friends and family of Baby C's progress. There used to be 100s of posts, but it was overwhelming to sift through, so I've consolidated them into "Carter's Story," which you can read by clicking the link above.

WHO ARE YOU?

We want to see who's supporting and praying for Carter with the hope that one day he will Pay It Forward.
Here's your task: Take a photo with yourself, your child, a landmark, etc. and Carter's name. You can also include your location so we know where you are. Email them to heelsgirl2001@yahoo.com

Get creative, have fun! Summer vacations will be the perfect opportunity. We'll post all the pictures here and eventually put them in the blog book. I've tried to list them with the most recent pics at the top of the page.

Hi Kelly Brad and Carter,
We would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas. We know it will be great with Carter around he will make so nice and enjoyable for all of you.
We are still praying for him and will keep praying that he just keeps getting better and stronger all the time and nothing else goes wrong with him. He is a sweet adorable little guy. Know you are in our thoughts and prayers all the time.

Kellie, BRAD and lil man C,

I had the best opportunity to work with your dad in June'08. I want you to know that your mommy and daddy worried about you and did everything they could along with the support of family, friends and other caring individuals to make sure you are living the best life possible. Your dad has the biggest heart, and he loves you very much. Mommy does to, theres nothing like a mothers love. GOD picked them for you, so love them, as they love you and become the best little man you can be. Oh and by the way...they also have the BEST "lala" that you could ever want or need! take care and continue to grow big and strong...

with love,

Maria Torrealba
