We keep a spray bottle of water in C's room to "refresh" his curls after he sleeps. He recently discovered how to use it...
We started this blog in early 2008 to follow our first pregnancy. After our son was prenatally diagnosed with a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH), we turned to the blog to inform friends and family of Baby C's progress. There used to be 100s of posts, but it was overwhelming to sift through, so I've consolidated them into "Carter's Story," which you can read by clicking the link above.

Just wanted to give you another CDH kiddo's blog. He is my nephew and truely a miracle. He was sent home with his parents the first time at 11 months of age, after numerous surgeries and complications. He was sent home to go and be with the Lord, and his parents were told to enjoy the time they have with him. He is now 5 1/2 years old and thriving. He goes to public school. He is being weaned off his vent, and was recently told, he could possibly get rid of his trach! It is an awesome amazing story of inspiration and strength by both Kaden and his parents. To add to the story, they also had a little girl Ava, born Jan 08, who had a heart defect, and they did lose her. She gained her wings around 3 months of age. And now have a healthy 1 year old, Brody. Visit them at kadenboeckman.blogspot.com
Aww, how adorable!!! He's such a clever guy!
